Comments: Though not as good as the Mountain Views show in terms of both video and sound, this is an excellent and very rare source. There are some claims the the audio is better than the video, I completely disagree. First off, the sound is wraped in tape hiss and compression, and the drums are nearly nonexistant at times. The guitars, vocals, and bass really standout though, which redeems the listening factor. The video, despite being very high generation, is very enjoyable, and in my opinion, a low excellent. It dosen't have as much clarity as the Mountain Views show as that show is much lower generation, this show gives a completely badass Geddy for us to watch! Its a great DVD, with a great performance. If your a Presto fiend as I am, you will really like this show.

Comments: Here is probably the best proshot that I own. Its probably not my absolut favorite, as that might go to Detroit 90 and Passaic 76 as my favorites, but this might slip right under those. The sound is much improved over the Critical Mass bootleg that I own, as this is much more clear sounding, and much less flat sounding as well. The bass tonight sounds great, as its the best instrument that is being played that night. The video is, well, outstanding. Its amazing for a proshot, the colors are so vivid and amazing. The band looks amazing, and its really cool to watch Alex play keyboards in time for Time Stand Still, he does that on the Presto tour, but its cooler here. The performance is excellent, with the best version of The Analog Kid around, you can't find any other one thats like that one. This is a must have.

Comments: Here is an excellent Test for Echo show, while not as good as the Albany DVD a few weeks prior, this one is definatly great. The sound is definatly much better than the Albany show, as it has much more depth and much less rough spots in the recording, and there isn't so much taper talk on this one. The mids and highs are just about right as the lows seem to come in perfectly with the show. The video is outstanding too. One of the cameras had better optics than the other, as it didn't move so frequently, but they both offer different and interesting visuals of the band. There are 4 cameras! There is one on Alex side, near the stage, the rest are in the back, on in center, and 2 on left and right hand side. Everyone can be seen and heard fine on this recording. The audience is up for the night, and so is the band. They give in a pretty damn good performance for the Philly crowd, as they surge into a very good Red Sector A, which is when the video mixer screen actually pops up! Its actually funnier than anything, as it shows excatly what kind it is. A must have DVD that you can definatly enjoy for a long time with great sound and great video.

Comments: What a great show we get here, with some awesome video and some awesome sound to match! I do think that the audio is from the scanner source from Digital Reproductions release Stolen Signals, but I can't be for sure as I don't have that source. That source that is listed is from the same exact date as this show. I definatly think that the bass sounds really nice here, with some good mids and the overall sound is awesome. The mix is near perfect, with no distortion or anything that would make this a bad sounding show. Now the video is the best part of the show. Not only is it the best single cam from the tour, its one of the better from every tour. The only detractor is that Neil isn't seen as Geddy's keyboards get in the way most of the time, but you can see Neil on the video projector screen above, so we can still see shots of Neil, which is very good. The video is so clear and great, it amazes me. There are only a few security ducks, but none that would detract from this overall awesome show. The performance is one of the best from the tour, with one of the better versions of 2112 and Force Ten caught here. A must have recording, you will enjoy it alot if you really love the Test for Echo tour, and if you love Geddy and Alex.

Comments: The third and fourth discs of this awesome release. This show is great, I think that the performance here is a tad higher than the nights previous, though this version of 2112 might not be as strong. The sound and video are a tad lacking, but not too much. The video is pretty good, you get a full shot of the band and the close-ups are decent, but the overall picture quality isn't as excellent as the few nights prior. The sound, although not in pristine condition, is very good and you can hear everything very well. A must have for the more serious collector.

Comments: Right off the bat, I think that this was recorded from the camera because when the camera moves to Geddy, the drums sound a bit more compressed, and when the camera is on Neil and Alex it has a more drum sounding mix to it. But this show is amazing. The performance is great here, Geddy has a sleeveless on, and his hair is really cool looking on this video boot. The sound here is excellent, definatly. There are parts were the mix seems to be a little compressed, but there is an amazing amount of sound flucuation. There seems to be a bit of crispy-sounding qualities to the recording, but its an amazing sounding video boot. The video is the star though. There are amazing close ups here, as this was recorded on Alex's side of the stage, and there weren't too many heads or security ducks, which is very good here. Its clear, ands a personal favorite from any tour. With good sound and video, this is a must have video bootleg, definatly one of the best audience shots I have ever seen.

Comments: This is my favorite Snakes and Arrows video boot, and I may stress the word video in the sentence. The sound is very far from perfect. There isn't too much distortion or anything, but its so very distant sounding and the mix ins't well captured. But I don't think its terrible, as you can hear the instruments seperately, and the drums sound good here. The video is the obvious standout here. Its a 3 camera mix, and all of the cameras are pretty much near the tripod level for anything. There is one in the middle right in front of the stage (probably the one that was taken for the audio, as that is the most distant one, and the audio itself is very distant and has very poor resolution) and 2 other cameras on each corner. I think the guy on the right corner liked Geddy's crotch as he positioned is camera right there in Entre Nous and Digital man, but they camera men are amazing here. There is an extremely rough part in the audio in Limelight, were the taper may have been breathing too heavily, as there was some distortion and some wind noises going on. That only lasts for a minute or so. You can hear coughing in Digital man, but it dosen't detract from this outstanding video. A must have, if you can get past the minor audio problems, this is amazing.

Comments: This is excellent! The sound, the video, the everything is so good here! The audio is excellent, with the exception of Dreamline sounding a little bit more distant and a little more distorted than the rest of the show, as the rest is distortion and distance free. The video is the standout here. There is so much clarity here, and every band member gets their moment on the camera, which makes for a great bootleg. There are a few heads in the beginning of the show, but other than that the camera man does a very good job on focusing in on the action and does a really good job of keeping the lense on the band and into the crowd. The performance is pretty good, with a great version of Force Ten and the Analog Kid come to mind when it comes to performance on this show. The sound and amazing clarity in the video are enough reasons to get this great DVD we have here.

Comments: If I had the 3 camera edition that I hear is floating around somewhere, I would like that, but this isn't bad by any means. The sound here is a bit better than the video. There is a good amount of bass and drums, the vocals and keys come through fine and the guitar seems to jump right at you. So by me, this is a perfect mix. I think that the sound might not be as good as the first night they were here at the Radio City Music Hall, but this offers a little more clarity, but lacks in overall punch as the first night. The video here is excellent, but somewhat suffers from one camera, but overall the taper seems to keep a good eye on the band. There are little obstructions in the video, which is great. The performance is amazing here, they give a good shot for the New Yorkers here, and the band is up for the night, as they were the first night, but both nights produced good performances. A must have.

Comments: An excellent show, one of my favorites. The sound here is excellent. There is a great amount of clariy in the instruments, and the depth is fantastic. I wish the highs were a tad brighter, but they are fine as they are. If it were a bit brighter, you would get more clarity, but I think that it sounds excellent as it is. The video quality here is definatly beautiful. There are a few moments when he has to hide the camera from the security, but that is very rare. Most of the security hiding happens on disc 1, luckily. It was synced with the best audio, and it really is a great production. The performance here is a very good one. They seem to be doing well after their few month break, and they are now on their Snakes and Arrows Live tour, if any distinction from the Snakes and Arrows regular tour and the Snakes and Arrows Live tour can be made, except for a little bit of a change in the setlist. A great DVD set, a must have for the new fans who want to see them now, in the present.

Comments: Here is an excellent 3 cam mix from the R30 European part of the tour. The sound here is excellent, great depth with the audio and it gives it some soundboard qualities because it seems to be very close to the stage at most times, there is little distance with anything. The sound is not flat, and I think it is in stero, if not, its the best mono recording that I have ever heard in my whole life. The bass sounds great tonight, and there is not distance. The first camera is probably the best looking one, but that, unfortunatly, is the one that only works for the first few songs, and then goes. The remaining cameras a pretty good, but we do get to see alot of heads at times, but when they zoom, it looks great. Disc 1 is the worst, which respectivly gets about a B+ for the video, but Disc 2 and Disc 3 are amazing, so I bumped up the grade to an A/A- more or less. A great DVD that you can enjoy for many years to come.

Comments: How fucking lucky are we to get this super rare Signals DVD? This is great, but it isn't perfect. There are 2 cuts, none too bad, luckily. The sound here isn't great until "Digital Man" then it gets a B/B+ rating really. Its very distant sound because it was filmed in the back of the Forum, but I think that it still sounds pretty good for the most part. The video is the real star on this night, though. We get clear shots of everyone, and its very interesting to see them on the Signals tour. Geddy looks bad ass with those leather pants on. Oh yeah, something that is really cool here, Geddy uses the Steinberger on "Digital Man" and it sounds really good. The sound has exceptional bass response, as that is the clearest instrument there. The performance here is very good, Geddy and Alex are really happy to be there. Alex is moving all across the stage, and its really cool. A great DVD that no Rush fan can live without.

Comments: Here is good proshot in-house feed, meaning it has all of the little videos that they had playing over the band while they were performing. The video and the audio have major problems, but they both look and sound pretty good for the most part. The performance here isn't that great, very average to say the least. They seemed a little tired tonight, but I think that the Snakes and Arrows tour has much better performances than all of the the Presto shows combined, but this is a definatly average night for the boys. They seem to have a few problems, like when Geddy makes an ugly note in "Marathon," but nothing else is overly bad about this show, but it is a little average tonight. The sound here has alot of treble. In fact, I have never heard so much treble in a soundboard/proshot recording. The overall sound isn't terrible, but it lacks life. It dosen't have so much fun to listen to, very flat and very boring to listen to, but I think that everything is very clear. One main problem for me with the audio is that it is in mono, so you don't get a very full sound like when you are listening to a normal stero soundboard or audience recording of that nature. The video has some problems, but probably not as bad as the sound problems with this show. There is pixelation, due to the fact that this show is only on one disc, but I think that it should stay that way because you don't have to change discs every hour, but it means less quality with your recordings, and that can be bad. The cameras have nice angels, a good amount of clarity, and it has great shots of Niel in this show, which really amazes me. There are moments when the video and audio freak out, just look at Distant Early Waring, but that only happens 2 times, so it is a very rare occurance. Also, when the camera is further from the stage, there is much less clarity with the video, but this only happens a few times, so it does not interfere with the rest of the show, just a few sections. This is a great Presto show that any fan with love, mainly because it is a Proshot recording.

Comments: Another excellent video bootleg that I have found. This is a 2 camera mixdown, with is great, because it has very good angles and such. The band seems really good for their first night on their tour, they give a really good performance. Geddy introduces "Driven" with "There not mess-ups, just new parts" and its pretty funny. The video quality is great, clear and steady. The audio is fine, but there is alot of audience noise, but the band comes in very clearly, making this fine bootleg. Highly recommended.

Comments: This is the second show from the Caught in the Act DVD, which includes the Caress of Steel video as well, which is another this you don't want to pass up. The intro is just Neil telling how bad the tour for Caress of Steel really was. There is alot of rare footage, which is really great. But that bad thing is the audio. It was taken from the only Caress of Steel source. The Stainless Steel isn't that bad, it was a little hard to watch with the audio, though, but definatly not a bad boot. You get alot of good shots of the band, Geddy, Alex, and Neil in their indiviual shots, and what not. This is a great DVD, and you really don't want to miss this rare DVD.

Commenst: This is one of the best bootlegs that I own. The sound and video are crisp, clear, and near offical quality, in my opinion, because it is an all proshot source, even the audio. The sound is really only one of the best parts of the performance. Geddy sound incredible on that night. The sound is actually much better than the audio bootleg of this. The performance was overall outstanding, you can see that Alex has many problems with the tuning, though. Neil's drums came in really great. The video is clear, but in black and white, which isn't really all that bad. You can see almost everything. A boot you don't want to miss.

Comments: With the possible exception of the Tampa show, this is the best Snakes and Arrows show out there, performance and sound are amazing. The performance here is very spirited, Geddy is in a very good mood tonight, and Geddy even jokes with the crowd as you can hear some laughing in the backround after Digital Man, as Geddy forgets how to say music it seems, and its hilarious! The sound is something too get crazy about. The mix is just about perfect, nothing wrong with it at all. There is an amazing amount of bass, and drums. The guitar and highs are well captured too, the keyboards and pedals sound amazing and extremely full here too. The only complaint is that it is barely incomplete. Its missing Limelight and some of Digital Man, but I can live as this is just about soundboard as there is absolutly no taper talk, no distance, and this show is about as close as pure heaven as you can actually get on earth. A must have show, its amazing in every single way.

Comments: If this show was complete, it would get an A, because what is here sound very good, but maybe not best of tour. The performance is excellent, as I was there, far from the stage, with my step-father unfortunatly. Alex almost fell a few times, but the performance was very good despite almost falling. Geddy was in a very good mood, and it was very loud tonight as it scared me when Alex started to play Limelight. The sound here isn't excellent, but its more or so a low excellent. There is some distance with the recording, but it actually adds more than detracts as it gives you more of a feeling of your there. The mix here is exceptional. A very good recording, but I definatly wish that this show was complete, as what is here sounds pretty damn good.

Comments: Well, this isn't very good, but it isn't bad. Medicore, I should say. There is a great amount of people around the taper, and I can't really hear the band at all that night, so it was a bring down, for me. But, it has its highs were you can hear them pretty well, most prominatly in "Far Cry" and "Natural Science". The band seems to put on a good show that night, to. The performance, mainly , is the only reason to get this, and because it might be a more or so rarer than normal source, that that is okay. So, I can really only recommend this to collectors.

Comments: This is probably the best from the tour, from what I have. The sound is almost perfect, I swear, when I'm listening to it, it sounds like a great soundboard show. The only real problem is that there are a few annoying people, and the crowd gets in the way at first, but settles down after "Limelight". Geddy was singing all of the high notes, and overall, a really, really great perfromance by the boys. The boys seem to really be enjoying themselves tonight, and I'm very glade that the performance is so good with such amazing sound on this one, so you know you really can't go wrong here. You have to get it if you love the Snakes & Arrows days of the band.

Comments: The only reason I don't give this an A+ is because the performance isn't as strong as some others that I have heard that I didn't get a chance to put on my blog. The sound quality is astonishing, really. Its excellent, definatly. It will blow your ears out if you listen to loud on headphones, and it will break your windows when you have it on your stereo, but you won't mind because the sound is near soundboard. A show you need to get.

Comments: This is a really great show, nothing is really to complain about this bootleg. This honestly sounds like a soundboard or a monitor or scanner mix, but its actually a DAT source, which actually amazes me. Why I didn't ever make comments on this one, I'll never know till now. There is some traveling, if your listening in headphones or anything of that nature, in the music, it seems to go from ear to ear and it gets a little annoying, but its not the worst thing that could happen. The worst thing that could happen is that this is bad, and its not. The sound, as I mentioned before, is great, and the performance is really nice as well. The band seems to be up for the night, rocking out the stage as hard as they can, with little or no flaws within the performance. What else is stricking about this bootleg is that there is almost no audience noise in-between the songs, so you can hear everything near perfrection, like you wished. There is more, we get a good version of Force Ten, Xanadu, and Dreamline, which is amazing, to make the performance even better. One reason to get this is because of the great sound, and no audience noise, and another great reason to get this amazing, awesome, incredible bootleg is because I really recommend it, a good bootleg to have for anyone.

Comments: Oh my god, almost soundboard! I swear, honest to god it is that good, the sound is near soundboard! The sound is crisp, phenominal, and extremely clear. The bass is so tight, and the guitar is just about right in the overall mix. Geddy's vocals are pretty good, and can be well distinguished. The drums are near perfection as well, in fact, the whole recording is pretty much near perfection. The performance here is pretty good. Nothing too special seems to be going on with the performance, but definatly nothing that is extremely bad. The version of Tom Sawyer is pretty good, just of note. A must have recording in your collection.

Comments: This is the only Vapor Trails bootleg that I have (not anymore, check my other reviews). Its pretty good, Geddy comes in very well, the guitar is a little short, but nothing extremly serious. The bass is loud, same with the drums. So, overall, its a great show. The performance itself is great, which is probably why there were so many bootlegs from the Atlanta show, about everyone in the crowd had a taper, or anything that could record, and this came out fine from the huge Atlanta bootleg mix, I guess. One more note on this definatly excellent show, Geddy coughs on Limelight into the microphone, pretty funny. This is probably the best source of the show as well. I highly recommend it.

Comments: A very awesome show we get here. The performance is completely excellent, Geddy is in probably the best mood that I have ever heard him in, and his vocal powers here definatly show. Alex is in a great mood as always, and Neil is hitting the drums very well as he usually does on these shows. The sound is completely excellent too. Though its not as good as the Landrover show, it beats Boston and Philly, but Boston is very close. It even beats Chicago in the later parts of the show, thats how excellent this recording usually sounds. The mix is near perfection, with the audience very low in the mix for most of the time, and the band is very well heard and well distinquished, and the mics are very detailed because everything is so crisp and very clean and clear sounding for most of the time. The bass end sounds exceptional here with awesome clarity. The highs and lows are very well represented here as well. There is some echo, nothing very serious, actually it helps the recording seem a little more detailed at some times. This show is a must have for anyone and anything because this is one of the absolute best Test for Echo show that I have ever come across, so this is highly recommended.

Comments: Another very excellent show from the second half of the Test for Echo tour, and a grand show it is. Though the performance might not be one of the best from the tour, it sometimes beats Boston and Philly at most times. The performance isn't bad, its just a bit boring and unexciting at most times. Geddy is in an okay mood, but he dosen't seem to be too happy to be here at most times. The sound is completely excellent. This show would be an A+ if the performance was a bit beter, because the sound quality is completely excellent. This is also a complete show, so you can get to hear everything that they were playing tonight. The highs and lows are pretty good, with only the bass end seeming a bit low in the overall mix. A good show that you pretty much have to have in your collection for the collection to be complete, its really that good.

Comments: Here is an awesome show from the first half of the Test for Echo tour. Its much better than its brother, Aztec & Maya because the sound is much fuller sounding. There is some distortion on Dreamline, maybe the PA system was distorting, but the rest of the show is completely amazing. The performance is something to get crazy about, because they are in Pittsburg, so there is a few notches turned for he performance. The sound is completely amazing as well. Everything is well balanced and heard very well. A show you have to get.

Comments: The only, and I mean the only thing that keeps this from being an A is that it is missing the first 2 songs. What we have here is one of the best from the tour, rivaling that of the Chicago and the Boston show! We get amazing depth with the recording, great highs and lows that make it seem like a soundboard at times. There is no distance that I can pick up at all, so that just adds to the sound. The audience, for the most part, seems to be in good form, not shouting when they shouldn't be. The performance, is decent. Nothing really special seems to go on with the performance, but its not terrible as they don't make too many mistakes. A great show that will make its way into your collection one time or another.

Comments: This show rivals the Houston soundboard, it might even beat it because this show has such a full stero sound! Oh my god, I don't beileve what my ears are hearing right now, its like heaven! The sound quality is awesome, soundboard is what these audience shows should be called if it is this good. There is not one ounce of distance, and everything sounds awesome, the mix is amazing. The drums and bass are very prominate in the mix, and the guitar seems to hit the right spot. The keyboards sound good, nothing special though. The performance is excellent as well. Amazing version of 2112, hands-down the best version of the tour. Just listen to the way Geddy sings it, its awesome, best vocals tonight for him. A must have recording, this show is absolutly amazing and you need it in your collection or you will die from not having this superb show! Get it now!!!!!

Comments: This is awesome. Thats one sentence to view this show. This is an audience show with a scanner version of the show, so its makes Geddy sound monsterous tonight! We do get an awesome Country Jam captured tonight as Alex broke his thing, Geddy calls it, but after about 2 or 3 minutes the boys start Driven just fine. The performance here is excellent, as they are in Milwakee which leads to an excellent performance. This is a show you can't really pass up for anything as the performance and the sound are both very, very excellent.

Comments: An extremely good matrix of sources. The sound here is nothing short of phenominal and excellent, but at the beginning or so, there is a very hollow sounding part of the show, and the scanner sources goes with "Driven" all the way until the first set. The sound is still very good, and we do also get a pretty good performance to match. There are better shows performance-wise, but I do think that they had some fun tonight. A great boot that should definatly make it into everyones collection at one time or another, this is also a must-have for the casual collector.

Comments: An okay show to say at best, and definatly not the worst from the tour that I have heard so far. There is a good amount of distance with the band, some distortion, but luckily not too much. There are a lot of audience memebers who like to shout so loud that it really gets annoying at times, but I do think that for the most part that this is an enjoyable recording. There are cuts, the first few songs are completely gone, and so is "The Spirit of Radio" which really nocks the grade on this one. A diehard boot, one for them.

Comments: This show is possibly one of the best shows from the first leg of the tour, the sound is great and so is the performance. Well, the sound is a tad distant at times, but when you play it loud, this show really shines. The guitar is perfect in the mix, with only the bass being a tad low in the mix, but I do think that it can be pretty loud at times, luckily nothing overwhelming. The drums are also captured pretty well, as with the vocals and the keyboards sounding great. The crowd and the band is definatly up for the night, as they are both very loud, but luckily the audience is polite around the taper so the sound is very clear, and every instrument sounds very good. It is definatly a must have show from the Test for Echo tour.

Comments: So far, the worst Test for Echo show that I have come across lately, and it is really something that should be avoided at all costs. The sound here isn't great, but not terrible. The drums are the only thing that actually stick out in this recording, and everything else, unfortunatly, gets buried in the heavy mix of things. Geddy is really lost, near to the point were he is pretty much nonexistant in the recording. The recording is definatly distant. The performance here is pretty good, but I think that the sound is so bad that it really dosen't matter because this show is near unlistenable quality. The first few songs are cut, so that really dosen't help this recording in any way possible. A collectors item really.

Comments: What an ugly cover art! Look at that, its terrible! But, luckily the show itself isn't. The sound on here is nothing short of a fantastic, it sounds really almost like a high generation soundboard recording. The only complaint is that it is a tad distant at times, but for the most part everything is very clear, and loud to say the least. I think that the performance is also a standout for the tour. We get some great versions of "Force Ten" and a blistering version of "2112" in it's incredible full length. A must have show from the Test for Echo tour.

I think that the sound has so much echo, it can be distracting, and there is alot of distance with the overall recording. The sound itself is distortion free, which is great. Only thing bad is that the cheers are somewhat distorted at times, which is really weird, but never the music. I also think that the performance is pretty good here, too. Maybe not as pucnhy or energetic as places like Milwaukee or Chicago, but I think that they seemed to be enjoying the fact that they were there. A must have for those Test for Echo lovers, but more for the collectors in terms of quality.

Comments: The second best audience source to come out of the first part of the Test for Echo shows, with only Absolut Rush betting it, and tied with Between two Extremes in sound quality. The sound is really excellent, with punchy high ends, and some blistering low ends without any distortion with the overall recording, which makes for a great and clear sounding recording. The only problem I have with this is that at times, the music drops-out but its definatly nothing distracting. The performance is definatly great. It is much better than the 5/16/97 show, they were a little flat that day, so I really think that this has a great performance. One of the most listenable recordigns from the whole tour, so i really think that this is a must-have show from the Test for Echo tour, definatly one of the best.

Comments: A decent show we have here. The sound is better than the performance, I see. It is much like the Roll the Bones show Mirrors, with great sound, but the performance is very dry and a tad bland here. I think that this is a great example of that. The sound isn't best of tour, but I think that it is pretty good, with some nice lows, but the high end seems to be lacking a tad in this recording. There is some distance, but the audience is quiet in songs so that makes for a clear sounding show. The performance is dry, bland, and uninteresting, so I can really only recommend this show to people who really liked the test for echo shows. The sound is also a tad compressed, I did forget to mention.

Comments: One of the single best audience sources from the whole tour, and, a matter of fact, probably the best performance from the tour, besides the Great woods and Summer skies bootleg performance. Its really such an amazing performance, they were rocking their balls off in this performance. Geddy sang with passion on this date, and it really amazes me how great it really sounds. The sound is also excellent. There are only very few cuts, but the sound really saves the grade on this one. The only problem with this recording is that you can hear everyone, but the band comes in incredibly. You can hear people caughing in "Dreamline" but thats about it really for audience noise. A great show you don't want to miss.

Comments: Yes, this is one of the best shows from the tour. Its that damn good. The sound quality is excellent, offical quality. The audience can be loud, but the band plays louder, thats what I love about Rush. The performance is also excellent, with an impressive version of "2112". Actually, this version of "2112" was used on Different Stages, it was really a great performance. The band was really just rocking that night, and it really shows on here. I think that they should have video taped a concert (Different stages with a Test for Echoe video, Counterparts Video, and a Farewell to Kings concret video) of they taped a concert, this would be it. But, they decided not to, but now we have a bootleg for it! Geddy was really having fun tonight, giving his Austin Powers impressionation a try, and its just hilarious. A great show you can't miss.

Comments: I swear to god, I am listening to an incredible soundboard, but its an audience! This definatly lives up to the hype. This is alot better than the majority of the bootlegs that I have found, and challenges many soundboards. This, in my opinion, is way better, more live, than the Houston soundboard recording. The instruments sound really great. Vocals are upfront, as with the guitar, and drums (the drums are really loud) and the keys come in pretty well, too. The only problem that keeps this from being a straight A+, is that the sound sort of travels in "Dreamline" but the rest of the show sounds really great, a must have. Another great thing about this audience recording, "2112" is played in its full form. It's a great hear, so you really have to have it if you like the Test for Echo era of the band. And, this is the first leg of the tour, so you can hear nice versions of "The Big Money" and whatnot. So get it, if you don't have it.

Comments: This is so great! We get a soundcheck, and its in incredible condition. Some songs are actually turned into instrumentals so that Geddy can catch his voice, and, man, those instrumentals sound extremly professional, really like it was meant to be the real song, but its just a soundcheck. This actually sounds like it was a really released board, but, really, its not. Still, a great catch, and you really don't want to miss this baby. Its just so great to hear nice audio like this. So, its so recommended.

Comments: This was considered one of the best shows of the T4E shows. Its pretty good, 2112 is so amazing in its full length, but the rest of the show dosen't really hold up. The guitar is a little background, the bass is upfront, as with the vocals and drums. One thing I really don't like about this recording is that sometimes Geddy's voice goes really background, to sound like a bad audience, but then it quickly goes back to normal, but a glitch that isn't one of my favorites. Overall, its highly recommended.

Comments: What a show we have here! The performance is definatly excellent, and so is the amazing sound! The sound is so warm because it is an Analog Master source, it makes me feel so happy to listen to it. There is some echo, but not too much distance, and the mix is especially wonderful for such a huge place like the Richfield Coliseum. The performance is definatly awesome here, the boys love Cleveland, Ohio, and I think that they love Ohio in general as they always give very strong performances when they come here. Geddy is in a very nice mood tonight, and Alex is in a "Star Trek" mood, you'll have to find out! Get this show, and you definatly will not be dissapointed by the amazing sound and the awesome performance. And, did I mention, its cut free!

Comments: Here is what it called "the best" Counterparts show, it might give Nuts and Bolts a run for its money. The overall sound is absolutly excellent, my main thing with it is that its incomplete, though. The incompletness of this show knocks it down to an A-, which is pretty much excellent in its own right, but it would have gotten an A+ if it was full. The vocals get a bit buried in the mix, because Geddy is a little hard to distinguish at times. The performance isn't anything to get excited about, just normal I guess. A show for the Counterparts fan.

Comments: This isn't as good as Animated, but its awesome. Its much fuller than the soundboard recording, and the audience matrix makes it seem to have a bit fuller, and less mono sound qualities to it. Starting with Force Ten, the sound dramatically changes, not bad, but a little more distant as that is the audience tape going on. The mix is completely awesome, with everything sounding tip-top. The performance is damn awesome, with an amazing version of Hemispheres tonight, with Force Ten sounding really good as well. A show for anyone who would love to see the complete MLG show.

The highs and lows are completely excellent here, and the mids are something to get crazy about. The performance is pretty much okay, and Alex is in a decent mood tonight while introducing Stick it Out, but nothing really unusual or exciting with the overall performance. This show is incomplete, that is why it got an A-. Its a great show, more for the Counterparts lovers and soundboard freaks.

Comments: This show is amazing, I will definatly put it that way. The sound qualilty is outstanding, and in the most pristine of conditions. The audience is a little loud, but nothing that is way too distracting for me. The sound is like a high generation soundboard to me, its that amazing, you could definatly have had me easily fooled. Everything is very well captured, and the seperation and clarity are phenominal. The performance is great too. Rush always gave a good show to the Atlanta crowd, and this show is definatly excellent. Geddy is in an awesome mood tonight, definatly great. The boys serve up a great version of Force Ten tonight, in fact, this is probably the strongest performance of the early part of the tour. Amazing, you need this show in your collection.

Comments: There are a few things about this boot that are simply amazing, and there are somethings about this boot that actually can drive people insane. The performance isn't great, Geddy is a little sick from a few days prior to this show, and the second disc of this show is in full mono quality, or the second disc has very many mono-qualities to it that make it a little less enjoyable than the first disc. The sound on the first disc is official quality, no doubt in my mind, it sounds completely excellent, full bass, nice mix, and the drums kick ass. The second disc isn't bad or anything, but not excellent or official quality. The show is also a little incomplete, its missing the encore of the show, but the rest of the show is actually here, so we can definatly enjoy that part. A great boot, I recommend the first disc over the second disc any day of my life though.

Comments: Another amazing Counterparts performance, and its a soundboard! There are amazing soundboards and audience recordings from this tour, and this is definatly one of the best of the soundboards that I have listened to. The clarity is amazing here, and all of the instruments sound amazing here. The performance is pretty good too. The sound easily beats the 1994-03-22 show, because this isn't in mono format, and it is much less compressed. But this is incomplete, wich the other show I mentioned is complete. The version on of "Double Agent" here is fucking killer, is so amazing. A must have show for everyone.

Comments: This is a proshot video feed, so you can't expect this thing to be amazing. There is a good amount of sound here, but it seems very compressed at times, but thats my opinion. It dosen't come close to Animated, Nuts and Bolts, or even First Part of Counterparts in the sound quality. I think that sometimes the keyboards overall drown the music out (check Mystic Rhythms for a good example of this) but its not all bad. The band seems to be tight tonight, they give some good performances. I think that there is a great amount of clarity here, too. This is good for people who love the Counterparts tour, or people who like good performances.

Comments: A great show that we have here, and full to mention. The sound in "Dreamline" isn't very good, maybe about a B/B- on a scale of F to A (thats pretty much with both of the recordings, unfortunatly), this thing is a definate A-, clearing its name, really. The sound, overall, is very clear, distortion, and tape hiss free and there is about no distance with the music at all. The sound, is also very crisp sounding. The performance is also very nice here tonight, they give some great songs like "Force Ten" and "Xanadu" but the overall performance is pretty excellent. The mix is also very nice, with Alex coming in pretty damn well. This is an incredible bootleg, because of the amazing performance that can easily be the best from the tour, and excellent sound quality, except for "Dreamline."

The sound is perfect, the mix is incredible, it actually sounds professionally mixed. This is just as good as Great Woods and Summer Skies because of their amazing quality. If Rush did decide to release this, I think it would be a best-selling live album. The performance is pretty good here, too. They give the absolut best version of "Nobody's hero" with Geddy giving all of his passion into that song. This is, no question in my mind, better than Animated and the First Part of Counterparts bootlegs, this thing sounds so good. This should be in everyones collection.

Comments: This might not be soundboard quality, but its a decent audience bootleg. The mix is perfect, but I wish I could say the same for the sound quality, but I definatly cannot. The sound by all means isn't bad, its actually quite good, but nothing special. There is some compression and some distance with the band, but I think this is a pretty good source. The performance here is what gives this something to turn off. Its early in the tour, and I think they weren't that incredible yet, so I can't say that the performance is definatly incredible. Comments: This is really a true jem! How could it get better than this, a rehearsal of the Counterparts! I love it! The sound quality is a little odd at the beginning, then is simply corrected. I can actually recommend this more than the Animated show because this is a rare source, and Animated, is a widely spread source, and I really don't think that it really stands a chance to this one in a rarity contest. I highly recommend this show!

Comments: Amimated is the last show of the tour, as far as I know. It sound really nice, crisp, and delightful sound. But, another mention, its a little thin on the sound quality, but is really nice, and full in some songs. Rush is in Canada, so you know its going to be a good show. The performance is captured perfectly, which is really great, and I enjoy that. The only problem is that this isn't as rare as the other source, but its pretty good, for the most part. I also think that the mix could be a little better, but I think that the best part of the mix is the bass coming in with such an amazing and powerful response. I highly recommend this show.
